Adam Wojciechowski

Adam Wojciechowski comes from Łódź and is a trained pianist, chamber musician, and piano teacher. His musical journey began at the Music Academy in Katowice, and he later pursued further studies at the Hochschule der Künste in Bern and Zurich.

For over fifteen years, he has resided and worked in Switzerland, gaining recognition for his innovative pedagogical approach with students. In January 2018, during the Golden Key International Music Festival in New York/Vienna, he made a significant debut with his composition “Para Eva.” This audacious piano piece received considerable praise, and out of 134 emerging composers from around the globe, he was honored with the second prize in the Professional International category.

Visionary Chopin

In 2022, Adam Wojciechowski was invited to cooperate with the well-known electronic music producer Kuba Tracz (Bass Astral) in order to take part in the creation of a visionary cover of Fryderyk Chopin’s Nocturne in F minor op.55 No. 1. The studio recording of the piano part for this piece took place at Mirror Lake Studios in Zurich. In June 2023, his debut solo album “Free Soul Dance” was released, containing original compositions from recent years. The recordings for the album were made in cooperation with Krzysztof Sztekmiler in his hometown, in the recording studio of the Academy of Music in Łódź. In December 2023 he released also a new album called “Silent Night“ with his favorite Christmas Carols, where he combines traditional music with modern improvisations.

The primary inspiration behind his piano compositions is the people he meets, their personalities, and their life stories. He is currently working on his latest album, “Love Routine,” which boasts a completely different style – it’s notably less somber. This album draws inspiration from everyday life, with the title track dedicated to his wife, Paulina, and the piece “Capacitation” dedicated to his recently born son, Oskar.
